We dog owners are pretty lucky to live in Portland, Oregon, a city with so many dog-friendly breweries and patios.
If you have a reactive dog or one that can’t settle, however, it can make the experience pretty stressful and unpleasant.
Enter: Brewery Dog Group Class!
During the five weeks, we will work on :
- Basic obedience (sit, down, place)
- Loose-leash walking
- Appropriate dog socialization
- Impulse control
- Practice calm behaviors
- Dog management on restaurant patios
The final class will culminate at a reserved section at Migration Brewing on Williams, where we will put the skills that you’ve learned over the past five weeks to the test.
We’ll practice:
- Advocating for your dog’s space in a busy setting
- Managing your dog while ordering a beer
- Picking the best location to sit and where to put your dog once you’re seated
