After Sora’s third round of cancer, a friend who works in the marijuana and CBD industry reached out to me and suggested that we look into CBD oil for Sora. Intrigued, I hit the Google for research, eventually coming across HempMy Pet CBD oil products.

By law, hemp-derived CBD products must have less than .3% THC to still be considered hemp. Dilution with carrier oils further reduces the amount of THC and third party lab tests show zero trace of THC in HempMy Pet products.

It acts as a natural sun protector (albeit with an SPF of 4, so I still cover Sora’s leg during long exposure to the sun), moisturizer, and an antibacterial agent.

And once it cools down here, I’m scheming to make my grain-free pumpkin dog cookies with the coconut oil.
