How to Cycle Tour with a Dog: A Benefit for Family Dogs New Life Shelter

Cycle Touring with a Dog: A Fundraiser for Family Dogs New Life Shelter

After two years pedaling the world with Sora, we will be back home in Portland for a short while starting in April. While we are home, we wanted to share our story with our community, and give the event a purpose at the same time.

Please join us on Wednesday, April 26th at Velo Cult bike shop, where we will be presenting about our journey across Europe and South America, answering Q&As from the audience, and most importantly, raising money for Family Dogs New Life Shelter (FDNL), where Dave adopted Sora in 2008.

Velo Cult has generously offered to donate 10% of the sales to FDNL and we will be hosting a raffle, giving away great prizes for the human and dog adventurer alike. We’re still working on our prize list, but we promise that they will be awesome.

We will also be hosting a virtual fundraiser on Instagram starting in April, so stay tuned for more information and follow us @longhaultrekkers for the latest announcements.
